Overview
This is a state of the art suite of content management product, designed to scale with the requirements of organizations of all sizes. It is purpose designed for:
- Document management including office documents, maps, images etc.
- Records management with statutory compliance requirements
- Maintaining large data sets, including mixed datasets
- Asset management including images, audio and video
- Archiving cultural artifacts (as digital surrogates) for museums and formal archives
- The solution is based on the ECMS Web Services framework that work seamlessly together. This strategy allows the solution to be scaled on demand and independently at the user/organization level, and the content repository level. All applications are asynchronous. This brings in many benefits including lower cost, horizontal rather than vertical scaling, and virtually unlimited scaling.
InfoViewer 2
Providing organizational models and mapping relationships between users and content.
Manage all required controls such as Groups, Roles, Collections, Dynamic (Genre driven) Collections, User Folders (shareable), user Messaging and the administration functions for these.
Repository 2
Providing content storage, preservation and trust services. It is a policy driven application in accordance with archive and record keeping best ractices.
Information Architect
Provides centralized metadata services for all other applications.
It allows the creation and maintenance of thesaurus, taxonomies and authority files. The service is shared through a high speed caching interface
